Follow these steps to proceed: Launch Notepad and click on the gear icon on the top right. The ability to rename folders is available starting Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) and later. If you don’t see this option in the Settings app, it’s because you’re not running the supported version of Windows 10. Just keep in mind that this isn’t a new version of File Explorer, as we’re expecting that Microsoft will eventually replace the experience with a modern version that aligns with the design language of Windows 10. Once you complete the steps, open File Explorer, and you should now see the dark mode. At first, open your Notepad++, and select on the menu bar, and choose Style. Under the “More options” section, select the Dark option.
